What exactly does ready to build mean?
A project brought to the point where construction can start: with secured land rights, grid connection conditions and a complete set of administrative decisions. The investor does not start with procedures, but with delivery.
Is the land secured for the whole operating period?
The lease agreements for the offered locations run until 2054 and 2055, which leaves a margin over the typical operating life of a battery storage system.
Does the whole package of projects have to be bought?
The locations differ in capacity and energy – from 3 MW / 15 MWh to 9 MW / 45 MWh, 48 MW and 240 MWh in total. The scope of a transaction is agreed individually, because the economics of a single location and of the whole portfolio are calculated differently.
What happens after buying a project?
The same platform that manages our microgrids can then run the storage – from market contracting to participation in ancillary services. That is, however, a separate decision, independent of buying the project.
